CBRE Announces Manufactured Housing Vice President

Jon Shay, CBRE Vice President

CBRE announced that Jon Shay has joined its Denver office as a Vice President with CBRE Manufactured Housing, which serves the commercial real estate needs of the manufactured housing and RV resort sector.

Previously with ARA-Newmark, Shay specializes in investment sales and has been involved in more than 75 manufactured housing property transactions over the course of his career, totaling more than $250 million. He is based in CBRE’s downtown Denver office and will serve clients in Colorado and across the United States.

“Jon’s experience in the mobile home and RV park sector of commercial real estate covers the Rocky Mountain region and Central Plains, and we are proud to once again offer CBRE clients expertise in this niche investment market via a Colorado-based professional,” said Pete Schippits, senior managing director and market leader for CBRE’s Colorado region.

“Manufactured housing is remarkably relevant today. It is one of the only product types that provides affordable housing without public subsidies. It is also naturally supply-constrained since few new parks are developed in the U.S. each year. New investors are often pleasantly surprised at the level of returns they can get on a mobile home community compared to a traditional real estate investment,” said Shay. “If demographic trends continue as they have for the last several years, the importance of this affordable housing option will only increase as families look for a more economical place to call home.”

Brennen Guy, Project Engineer – Mechanical

360 Engineering recently hired Brennen Guy as a project engineer. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry at the University of Arizona, Tucson. While in school, Brennen focused on thermodynamics.

Kerri Zoetewey, Project Engineer – Mechanical

Kerri Zoetewey was also recently hired as a project engineer. She is a graduate of Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich., earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering.
