NexGen Properties Announces Matt Bernstein as Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management
NexGen Properties announced the appointment of Matt Bernstein as director of acquisitions and asset management.
“Matt brings all of the qualities, talents, and skills that we were seeking, as we look to grow the company. We are thrilled to have Matt to be part of the NexGen organization,” stated Travis McNeil, president of NexGen Properties.
Bernstein has a diverse background in commercial real estate brokerage, development, finance, asset management and operations. He previously served as a managing partner at Hier & Company, Inc., a local real estate firm specializing in land development, brokerage and property management, where he oversaw the development lifecycle for more than $30 million in commercial assets.
“I am excited about the opportunity to source new acquisitions for NexGen Properties while simultaneously optimizing our existing holdings,” said Bernstein.
Prior experience includes almost ten years at Prologis, Inc. in strategic operations, investment management and analysis. Bernstein received his M.S. in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver; and his B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a licensed real estate broker and community association manager in the State of Colorado, Realtor, and an active member of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties.
DLR Group Welcomes Business Developer Regina Serna
Regina Serna has joined DLR Group as a national business development leader for the firm’s healthcare practice. She works collaboratively with DLR Group design teams to build the firm’s portfolio and ensure clients receive the best possible service.

Serna has spent her career assessing strategic markets for both current and future trends, and has sustained strong client relationships both nationally and internationally. Her collaborative nature allows her to bring together strong team members to create value for patients, providers, and clients.
Serna is involved in several professional and civic organizations including the Chicago and Colorado Healthcare Executive Forum, Women in Healthcare, Sales and Marketing for the Professional Services, and American Society of Healthcare Engineers.
