OLC Announces Promotions and New Hire

Ohlson Lavoie Corporation announced that Michael St. John and Jodi Ross have been promoted to principal. OLC has also added Tania Parada to the team as their new senior interior designer.

Mike is a project architect and LEED AP who works in OLC’s Orlando office and also supports the Denver location. He has architectural experience in a variety of project types including hospitality, education, recreation, healthcare and civic sectors. As an integral part of any project team, Michael is able to perform many important duties throughout the entirety of the project; such as schematic design, detailed construction documents, and construction administration. Some of his recent projects include hospitality renovations for a large entertainment client and several municipal recreation and aquatics projects across the state of Florida.

Tania Parada

Jodi brings more than 15 years of experience as a marketer in the A/E/C industry to her new role as principal, director of marketing and business development at OLC. During her six years with OLC, Jodi has gained valuable knowledge of the firm’s client markets and service offerings. As principal, she will lead the firm’s strategic marketing and BD efforts including; research, planning, communications, proposals, collateral, social media, trade shows, marketing campaigns, event planning, and public relations.

OLC has also added a new senior interior designer to the team. Tania will collaborate on interior design projects from design concept all the way through construction administration. Tania has worked extensively in the luxury hospitality industry, designing restaurants, bars, spas, meeting/ballroom venues, new construction as well as hotel renovations. Through her diverse background, she is effective in bridging the gap between architecture and interior design. She is passionate about creating beautifully unique spaces that are functional, timeless, and memorable.

 

GE Johnson Hires Jamie Staton as Construction Executive

GE Johnson announced the hiring of Jamie Staton as construction executive to help lead the company’s construction efforts in the healthcare market.

Jamie Staton has 17 years of experience working in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. As construction executive, Jamie will provide leadership in the healthcare market from project procurement to completion. She brings experience from the owner’s side of a project, working as a project manager in prominent healthcare systems across Colorado. Jamie’s extensive experience with the integrated project delivery for construction projects and ability to bring the best teams together is a big asset to GE Johnson. Her duties include overseeing all construction operations on multiple projects, ensuring projects are delivered in a truly collaborative environment, on time, and under budget.

 

OZ Architecture Announces Promotions

OZ Architecture is pleased to announce the promotion of seventeen leaders within the firm. These individuals have been recognized for their excellent work and essential contributions to the firm’s reputation for design excellence around the world. They represent a wide variety of practice areas and projects and exemplify OZ’s up-and-coming leadership.

The newest Principal is Darcey Vertuca. Principals exemplify leadership in their project work, teams, and strategy. In addition, they build and maintain outstanding relationships with clients and embody OZ’s mission, vision and values carried through in their work.

Lorne Bourdo, Jake Levy, Matthew Post and Robert Willsie were promoted to associate principal. Associate principals oversee project work and execution. They serve as a leader, role model and mentor for other staff and enhance the firm by offering specific technical talent as a resource to the company.
