Anderson Hallas Architects announces the promotions of Anne Cutrell, AIA, LEED AP to senior project manager and Kristen Craig, AIA, to project manager as they each celebrate 10 years working with the firm!

Anne Cutrell, AIA, LEED AP, as senior project manager with the firm, looks forward to helping manage beyond the boundaries of her own projects and to fostering a greater sense of the team working together towards a common goal. In addition to her local work at the State Capitol, Anne has enjoyed her projects across the west from Grand Canyon NP, Rocky Mountain NP, and Mesa Verde. She is an active member of Women in Design serving as the Secretary of the Executive Committee. Anne has 20 years of experience and a Master’s in Architecture from the University of CO.

Kristen Craig, AIA, associate, in her new role as project manager, is excited to work more closely with clients and project teams while managing projects from inception through completion. She has a passion for historic preservation and enjoys working on projects all around the country, including Alcatraz Island, Coast Guard Stations and historic log cabins in Glacier National Park. Kristen also engages with the preservation community by serving on the boards for APT International and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of APT. Kristen has a Master’s in Architecture and Certificate in Historic Preservation from Tulane University.

 

Cresa Welcomes Four to its Denver Office

Cresa, an occupier focused commercial real estate firm, welcomes four new employees to its Denver office.

“For us, it’s all about finding the right people,” said Garrett Johnson, managing principal at Cresa. “As a growing firm, we’re looking for people who not only mesh well with our culture but people who bring diverse perspectives to help us better service our clients.”

Advisor, Mike Arnold joins Cresa from Avison Young with eight years of real estate experience, three of which he spent working with occupiers in the Denver office market. His extensive market knowledge and analytical abilities help him to provide business, financial and operational solutions to any occupier requirement. Mike has a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate from the University of Colorado.

Dean Francis has five years of accounting experience. In his role, Dean has responsibilities related to accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, compiling census data and preparing 1099 tax filings. He is a certified online QuickBooks pro advisor and is skilled in Wolfe Pak, Lacerte, Sage Mas, Avid and MRI. He has a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in finance from Chadron State University.

Laura DiSenso joins Cresa’s Workspace, Planning Design & Support team with over 12 years of industry experience.  As an interior designer, she works with corporate clients to develop schematic design concepts, test fits, pricing plans and construction documents. In her role as project manager, Laura directs construction administration and manages all aspects of corporate interior build-outs. With expertise in both fields, Laura is able to ensure her clients receive a space that not only meets their design aesthetic, but also one that is functional and within budget. She has a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Syracuse University.

As a project manager on Cresa’s Workspace Planning Design and Support team, Liz Steele manages complex corporate relocations. With her rich background in HR, business operations and consulting, Liz is able to efficiently manage the numerous details of an office relocation, meaning her clients can rest easy. She has a bachelor’s degree in business from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Cresa’s Denver office was recently named a Best Place to Work by the Denver Business Journal. Employees for each nominated company were asked to complete an engagement survey. The survey measures 10 key engagement categories focusing on items including team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits. In order to gather statistically sound results, companies must reach a minimum level of employee participation, based on total number of employees, to be eligible to be named a finalist.

 

The RMH Group Congratulates Mike Watkins and Erica Moser on their Promotions

The RMH Group (RMH) announces that Senior Vice President Mike Watkins, P.E., and RMH Project Manager/Shareholder Erica Moser, P.E., have been promoted to the positions of chief operating officer and Aerospace Group market leader, respectively.

Watkins began his career at RMH 19 years ago and quickly emerged as a respected leader and technical resource for other engineers within the company. Prior to this promotion, he served as RMH’s Aerospace Group market leader (now headed by Erica Moser) and has successfully completed well over 100 complex, innovative projects for such notable clients as Lockheed Martin Space Systems and Ball Aerospace. As RMH’s new Chief Operating Officer, Watkins will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s day-to-day operational functions and improving efficiencies throughout the organization. Watkins, who earned AGC CM-Lean designation in 2016, founded RMH’s Lean Committee, which has steadily streamlined operations within the firm—and he continues to head this important group. He is also a Professional DBIA through the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) and has overseen design-build projects as large as $350 million in scale.

As Team Leader, Moser will be charged with overseeing the RMH’s Aerospace market sector team and further expanding RMH’s presence in this growing sector. Moser, who joined RMH in 2010, is also a shareholder and an accomplished project manager and mechanical engineer on RMH’s Aerospace market sector team. She is president-elect of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Rocky Mountain Chapter and is a Young Engineers of ASHRAE (YEA) committee member. In addition, Moser is a Professional DBIA and active member of that organization.
