Hoff & Leigh Continues Growth with New Broker

Hoff & Leigh Denver announced the addition of Steve Cummock as an associate broker to the agency. After earning his master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics from the University of Northern Colorado, Mr. Cummock was a personal trainer and coached D1 collegiate athletes. He began his real estate career in 2014 as a sales associate for Richmond American Homes where he was a top producing sales agent and won the prestigious President’s Club award. Over the following 18 months with another builder, he added another $20 million in transactions before joining Hoff & Leigh.

Caan Taylor, Joins Anthem Structural Engineers as a P.E. Project Engineer

Caan Taylor joined the Anthem Structural Engineers team in 2021 after several years of work as a licensed structural engineer in Colorado, being based in Denver but also providing designs around the country. He found the profession after years of taking things apart and putting them back together as a youth, and excelling in math and physics when in high school.

Throughout his career Caan has had the chance to design structural systems for custom homes, townhomes, apartment complexes, mixed-use developments, and commercial buildings. His work has been constructed with a wide array of structural materials including timber, steel, concrete, CMU, cold formed steel, and aluminum. He is an avid user of the Risa design platforms and enjoys the process of design formation as new projects spring to life.

Caan is a talented designer and leader, who especially enjoys opportunities to shape custom residential homes. In addition to his engineering career, he makes time to enjoy the beauty of Colorado in a variety of ways, including capturing the landscape through photography.

 

Atlas Real Estate Announces Leadership Changes to Support SFR Joint Venture

Atlas Real Estate, a full-service real estate company specializing in investment brokerage, property management and institutional acquisitions, announced the promotion of Eric Thorsen to vice president, Acquisitions and
the addition of Brent Gray as joint venture controller.

In his new role on the Executive Leadership Team, Eric Thorsen will lead and manage the acquisition of single-family homes across the eight markets Atlas operates in. Eric will play an integral role in the execution of Atlas’ joint venture with DivcoWest. Eric first joined the Atlas team as an Acquisitions Specialist in 2012, where he underwrote and acquired $100 million worth of single-family rentals as part of a small team. He went on to further develop his skills at Northstar Commercial Partners and Redevelopment Capital Partners before returning to Atlas in 2019 as Director of Acquisitions.

Brent Gray comes to Atlas as a financial professional with over a decade of experience. Previously serving as the CFO at Northstar Commercial Partners, Brent will oversee finances and accounting for Atlas’ joint venture with DivcoWest.

“As we enter the next phase of growth, it is critical to have a team that can deliver results and execute on our ambitious acquisition strategy,” said Tony Julianelle, CEO of Atlas Real Estate. “Eric and Brent are fantastic leaders for that team.
