NAVA Real Estate Development Announces the Promotion of Sarah Stone to Vice President of Marketing

Sarah Stone

NAVA Real Estate Development, a Denver-based real estate development and investment firm known for its socially-minded and sustainable development approach throughout Colorado, announced today the promotion of Sarah Stone to vice president of marketing. Stone is involved with all aspects of marketing for NAVA’s communities and investments, including the sales success of Lakehouse — the first residential development in Colorado to earn Precertification under the WELL Building Standard. She has helped to generate global recognition for the company’s sustainable practices and its non-profit, Realwell, which offers comprehensive resources for owners and occupants who wish to create their own healthy buildings. In her new leadership capacity, she will be responsible for guiding and managing all aspects of marketing, branding, strategic growth and communications for the company while also focusing on the company’s project design aesthetics.

“Sarah has been a key to our success and growth to date, and an integral part of the team, responsible for spearheading important marketing initiatives across our portfolio and driving growth and profits for NAVA,” said Brian Levitt, co-founder and president of NAVA Real Estate Development. “Now as an executive member of the team, she’ll play a vital role in navigating our long-term growth strategies and generating valuable marketing campaigns. We’re fortunate to have her and are looking forward to her future contributions.”

Stone was previously senior director of marketing, a position she’s held since 2017. In addition to developing and executing tactical marketing campaigns to promote NAVA and its projects, she’ll continue to source new ways to drive brand awareness, assist with product design to ensure compliance with target audiences, budget and current and future trends, lead overall sales and leasing efforts for NAVA’s residential projects, support new business and deal-sourcing efforts, and help to manage aspects of the development process.

Stone most recently led the successful launch of Lakehouse, a new 12-story, mixed-use, waterfront community in Denver’s vibrant Sloan’s Lake neighborhood that sits at the intersection of high design and wellness. Now nearly 70% sold, the project has averaged 10 sales per month since the beginning of the year and received numerous awards and national recognition.

Accelerate Colorado Names Ellie Maguire Executive Director

Ellie Maguire

Accelerate Colorado, a partnership between business and local governments that works with the U.S. Congress and key federal leadership on issues critical to Colorado’s economic development, top industries, and business community, recently announced Ellie Maguire as its new executive director.

Maguire brings diverse and relevant experience with her to the position. Prior to joining Accelerate Colorado, she managed investor relations efforts at the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation.  Her responsibilities included recruiting new high-dollar investments and retaining existing investment dollars.  As Assistant Director of Investor Relations, Maguire strongly honed her skills in fundraising, strategic relationship management, and executive-level communications.  She was responsible for the development and deployment of new sales and retention collateral, and helped guide the organization’s revenue throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.  Her time at the Metro Denver EDC also allowed her to develop extensive connectivity with the local public, private, and nonprofit communities, creating a valuable intersection of knowledge, relationships, and expertise that will guide Accelerate Colorado’s future work.

Prior to her time at the Metro Denver EDC, Maguire was director of International Engagement at the Dallas Regional Chamber, facilitating the region’s efforts to recruit new and expanded foreign direct investment.  In this role, she planned and executed several international trade and diplomatic missions to Japan, South Korea, China, France, the U. K., and other target markets, meeting directly with multinational corporate executives and promoting the Dallas Region as a choice destination for investment.  Her experiences at the Metro Denver EDC and the Dallas Regional Chamber provided Maguire with a direct line of sight into the economic development process, including incentive negotiation and the application of economic policy to prospective relocating and/or expanding companies.

“We are excited for the fresh perspective that Ellie will bring to this growing organization.  She is highly motivated, and we trust her to carry the vision of Accelerate Colorado forward,” stated Wendy Mitchell, co-chair of Accelerate Colorado. “With her diverse experience, we believe that she will develop strong partnerships with our members and build real consensus on key policy items.  It is more important than ever for Accelerate to recognize and advocate for the changing needs of the Colorado business community and its major industries at the state and federal levels.”

Maguire’s arrival comes ahead of Accelerate Colorado’s annual business mission in Washington D.C., which is recognized as one of the most effective programs of its kind. The 2021 trip is scheduled for Wednesday, October 6 through Friday, October 8.  During the three-day event, the organization provides over 100 statewide business executives, leaders, and elected officials a one-of-a-kind opportunity to strongly advocate for Colorado’s economic development and policy interests while engaging directly with Colorado’s Congressional delegation and top federal leaders.
