Alliant National Announces Promotion of Margaret Cook as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer
Alliant National Title Insurance Company, a unique title insurance underwriter that partners with independent agents to improve their competitive position, announces the promotion of Margaret Cook as executive vice president (EVP), general counsel and chief legal officer.
Margaret Cook has been practicing law for 29 years, with nearly 25 of those years in the title insurance industry. Before joining Alliant National, she worked in private practice. She also served as chief claims counsel and as regional underwriting counsel at other title insurance companies. She began her career at Alliant National in 2010, and she was promoted to deputy general counsel in 2015.
Margaret is a past-president of the Land Title Association of Colorado and past-chair of the Colorado Title Advisory Council. She also actively serves on the Title Standards Committee for the Colorado Bar Association and on several American Land Title Association and Colorado Land Title Association committees.
Her years of experience in the title insurance industry will be invaluable in her work as EVP, general counsel and chief legal officer at Alliant National. In her new role, Margaret is responsible for contributing to the strategic growth of the company and all legal aspects of the organization. Her purview includes overseeing underwriting, claims, compliance, regulatory and corporate matters, as well as supporting and developing Alliant National’s legal team.

PGIM Real Estate Hire New Executive Director, Business Development
Steve Moen will be joining PGIM Real Estate as an executive director in Business Development. Based in Denver, Steve is responsible for marketing PGIM Real Estate’s global products and providing client service to institutional investors and consultants primarily in the Western United States and Canada.
Moen joins the firm with a wealth of real estate investment management and business development experience across real estate, infrastructure, private equity and private credit. Most recently, he was a senior vice president in client solutions at Partners Group where he was responsible for client relations and investment origination spanning the Western and Central U.S., and Canada, with relationships across institutional and individual investor channels.
