The Brown Palace Hotel & Spa Welcomes Timothy Wolfe as Complex General Manager

The Brown Palace Hotel & Spa, a legend among downtown Denver hotels since 1892, announced Timothy Wolfe as complex general manager of the 241-room iconic landmark and the adjacent 231-room Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown, part of The Brown Palace hotel complex. In this role, Wolfe will be responsible for managing the complex’s day-to-day success, overseeing all operational aspects of the sister properties, including everything from sales and marketing to food and beverage, while maximizing revenue and maintaining focus on strategic goals.

An accomplished authority in the hospitality realm with over 25 years of industry-specific experience, Wolfe joins the ranks at The Brown Palace following a seven-year stint as area managing director of Pyramid Hotel Group. During his tenure, he managed a myriad of properties including the Denver Renaissance, The Antlers Hilton, Lodge & Spa at Cordillera, Revere Boston Common, Residence Inn Boston Harbor and most recently the Columbus Marriott Northwest in his native state of Ohio.

Among the prestigious accolades received during his career, Wolfe was inducted to The Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association’s (CHLA) Hall of Fame in 2015 and was named CHLA’s Hotelier of the Year in 2011. Besides his commitment to excellence in the industry, he is passionate about community involvement, having served as Chairman of the Board for Colorado Tourism and member of the Board of Directors at CHLA.

Integra Realty Resources Reopens Denver Office Under Leadership of Industry Veteran Larry B. Close

Just a few months following the acquisition of its local Denver office, Integra Realty Resources (IRR), one of North America’s largest independent commercial real estate valuation, research and consulting firms, today announced its reopening. IRR-Denver opens under the leadership of one of the region’s most sought-after appraisers, Larry B. Close, MAI, who will serve as senior managing director.

Close brings more than twenty years of expertise in valuation and counseling across all major types of real estate throughout Colorado. The industry veteran joins IRR-Denver from CORE Realty Advisors, a highly regarded commercial real estate appraisal firm he helped form and grow over the past decade. Joining Close at IRR-Denver, are CORE Realty Advisors team of appraisers, analysts and support staff.

The reopening of IRR’s new Denver office expands the company’s market coverage across Colorado, crossing over into Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska and New Mexico. This announcement aligns with Integra’s aggressive growth strategy, having recently reopened and/or added more than 14 offices nationwide, launched IRR-Hotels, a hotels specialty practice group, and significantly expanded its Healthcare & Senior Housing specialty practice.

Prior to forming CORE, Close served as first vice president, commercial division manager, and valuation analyst for a regional full-service valuation firm based in Colorado. The industry veteran began his appraisal career as a residential real estate appraiser with a Denver-based real estate and consulting firm. He holds a bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of San Diego and is a MAI designated member of the Appraisal Institute, certified general real estate appraiser and licensed real estate broker in Colorado.

Ware Malcomb Announces Catherine Quintero Joins Denver Office as Director of Interior Architecture and Design

Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, recently announced Catherine Quintero has joined the firm as director of interior architecture and design in the Denver office. In this position, Quintero will be responsible for the leadership and growth of the interior design practice, including managing and developing client relationships and overseeing all interior design projects.

Quintero joins the Ware Malcomb team with more than 25 years of interior design experience within the Denver market. Her expertise includes workplace design for large and small corporate clients. Her project experience includes all aspects of design and management including programming, space planning, contract documents, code review and contract administration.

“Catherine brings a wealth of interior design, business development, and senior management skills to her new role as the leader of our interiors team,” said Matt Chaiken, principal of Ware Malcomb’s Denver office. “Her local knowledge and depth of experience will help expand Ware Malcomb’s interior design presence across a diverse range of project types in this dynamic market.”
