Generation Development Announces Launch of Construction Division

Generation Development, a leading multifamily developer led by industry veteran Chris Lonigro, has launched a contracting division called Generation Constructors, which will be led by Joshua Williams, vice president of construction.

Williams brings more than 30 years of construction management experience to Generation Constructors, having led the delivery of multiple types of projects, from major infrastructure improvements to transit and transportation hubs, in addition to more than 18 years in residential construction.

“Generation Development is thrilled to bring this level of in-house construction expertise to ensure our developments result in the highest quality construction,” said Lonigro, chief executive officer at Generation Development. “We’ve found we can expect better results with an integrated design and construction approach that is best managed from the owner perspective,” he added.

Generation Development’s current projects include a 40-unit condominium development in the City Park neighborhood, located at 16th Avenue and Lafayette Street. A Colorado State University Construction Management alumnus with more than 20 years of residential development, Lonigro’s past developments include the highly successful Ogden Flats and Goss Corner projects in Denver.

With 22 years of experience in the west coast industrial market, Brown brings deep market knowledge and relationships to BREG. Brown is based in Denver and leads the West Region- including Great Western Industrial Park a 3,000 acre dual rail served Industrial, retail/commercial and residential development located in Windsor, Colo.

Fitzsimmons has more than two decades of industrial development and brokerage experience with successful big box projects throughout the top east coast industrial markets, including prior developments in Savannah. In his new role, Fitzsimmons will be located in Savannah and Atlanta, and will lead the East region.
