DHM Design Elevates Team Leaders to New Roles Across Three Colorado Studios

DHM Design celebrates the promotions of Jeremy Allinson and Ashleigh Quillen to associate principals, and Garrett Watkins to senior associate. These key leaders at DHM have demonstrated exceptional creativity, mentorship and expertise in their respective fields, contributing significantly to DHM’s diverse portfolio of projects throughout the Western United States.

Jeremy Allinson has been promoted to associate principal. As the Natural Resource Programs Manager based in Carbondale, Jeremy has an extensive background in environmental project planning, NEPA compliance, and habitat restoration. His work has profoundly impacted DHM’s ability to balance ecological sensitivity with project demands. “Jeremy’s deep knowledge of natural resource management and environmental planning makes him an invaluable leader in our firm,” said Managing Principal Jason Jaynes. “His expertise and thoughtful approach ensure that our projects not only meet regulatory requirements but also enhance the landscapes in which we work.”

Ashleigh Quillen has also been promoted to associate principal. Ashleigh is a landscape architect and ecological restoration specialist in the Denver studio who has managed numerous complex projects from concept through construction. Her work, which includes the restoration of Hanging Lake Trail to creative recreation planning and design at the local municipal level, reflects her commitment to integrating ecological and social landscapes. “Ashleigh’s passion for ecological restoration and her ability to see the bigger picture and key details make her a standout at DHM,” said President Bill Neumann. “Her creative problem-solving and focus on sustainability bring significant value to both our firm and our clients.”

Garrett Watkins has been promoted to senior associate in the Durango Studio. Garrett’s expertise lies in graphic visualization, detailing, and landscape construction, and he has been a key player in projects that span from hot springs to national parks. He is particularly skilled in using 3D modeling to address complex design challenges. “Garrett’s creativity and his ability to leverage cutting-edge technology have truly elevated our design process,” said Managing Principal Ann Christensen. “His enthusiasm for innovative solutions and his dedication to his craft inspire both our team and our clients.”

These promotions reflect DHM’s continued focus on fostering talent and leadership within the firm, ensuring the delivery of exceptional projects that honor both nature and human experience.

Kentwood Real Estate Appoints Joe Serieno as Senior Commercial Advisor for Kentwood Commercial

Kentwood Real Estate, Colorado’s premier real estate brokerage, announced the appointment of Joe Serieno as senior commercial advisor for Kentwood Commercial in Denver.

As Senior Commercial Advisor, Joe will specialize in a range of specialized services, including landlord representation, tenant/occupier services and investment sales. He will focus on sectors such as office, medical and industrial real estate within the Denver Metro market, and will involve crafting customized solutions for clients, including leasing, subleasing, relocations and build-to-suit opportunities, while supporting long-term objectives for Kentwood. 

Joe Serieno brings over 30 years of experience, having represented more than 15 million square feet across over 60 office projects for institutional as well as local owners. His expertise also spans agency leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions, including the repositioning of commercial office buildings as well as ground-up construction. Joe’s strategic approach to leasing is designed to align with ownership’s investment goals, maximizing rental rates and occupancy levels to enhance property value.

Joe’s impressive career began with co-founding a successful leasing, management, and construction company, later acquired by Trammell Crow where he achieved the Top National Agency Broker Award. At CBRE, he was named among the Top 10 Producers four times. Most recently, at Avison Young, Joe established an office agency practice in Denver.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Joe enjoys traveling with his family and draws inspiration from global architecture. Joe donates his time in various philanthropic endeavors, deepening his connection to the Denver community. 

Denver Housing Authority Announces Promotion of Renee Martinez-Stone to Chief Strategy & Planning Officer

Denver Housing Authority (DHA) announced that Renee Martinez-Stone has been promoted to chief strategy & planning officer.  In this new role, Martinez-Stone will lead DHA’s strategic initiatives in support of the overall DHA Strategic Plan.

Her visionary leadership, strategic insight, and dedication to driving innovation will be instrumental in shaping the future of Denver Housing Authority,” said Joaquín Cintrón Vega, CEO.  “As we continue to grow, Renee’s expertise will guide us toward achieving our long-term goals and unlocking new opportunities.”

Martinez-Stone has been with the agency since 2016. She most recently served as the director of DHA’s Planning and Data Department, which includes the work of the West Denver Renaissance Collaborative. Her work with DHA includes master planning and management of community-responsive programs focused on equitable revitalization, minimizing displacement, and housing solutions in West Denver. Martinez-Stone’s professional experience includes both public and private sector urban planning and revitalization projects ranging from single residential sites to cultural, creative and investment districts. She also brings decades of expertise in community-based urban design, community engagement strategies, project management and plan implementation.

Tamika Weiss Named Director of Sales & Marketing at Colorado’s Elizabeth Hotel

The Elizabeth Hotel announced that Tamika Weiss is now serving AS the director of sales & marketing.

A member of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, The Elizabeth was recently honored with a MICHELIN Guide One Key award. 

Weiss joins The Elizabeth from the Embassy Suites Loveland by Hilton Conference Center. Her other previous hospitality experience includes serving as a conference services manager at the Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center in Breckenridge as well as general manager of several Colorado restaurants, including Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant & Cantina, the Rio Grande and Coyote’s Southwestern Grill.
