RTA Architects Welcomes Eight New Team Members
RTA Architects has welcomed eight new staff members to their Architectural, Interior Design, and Administrative teams over the last few months. The new architectural team members are Architects Bill Hrinko, Jr. and Wilson Day and Emerging Professionals Austin Beninga, Landon Cook, and Dikshit Mahaveer Chand. The Interior Design team welcomed Interior Designers Susan Brock and Taylor Barker, and the newest Administrative team member is Administrative Assistant Amanda “Mandi” Hillenbrand.
Bill Hrinko, Jr., AIA, NCARB earned his Master of Architecture from Kent State University and spent the next 13 years honing his design skills before relocating to Colorado Springs to join RTA. Wilson Day, RA earned his Master of Architecture from Syracuse
University and brings more than 12 years of experience. Austin Beninga joined RTA after earning his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from South Dakota State, and Landon Cook brought his strong skills in design, modeling, and drafting to RTA upon earning his Masters of Architecture from Kansas State University. Dikshit Mahaveer Chand relocated to the U.S. to complete his education after completing his Bachelor of Architecture degree at Hindustan University (Chennai, India), joining RTA shortly after graduating with his Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois.
Susan Brock, NCIDQ brings more than 20 years interior design experience, including more than 10 years as a project manager, and has degrees in both business administration and interior design. Taylor Barker joined RTA shortly after graduating with her Bachelor’s in Interior Design from Southern Illinois University, and Mandi Hillenbrand brings nearly 10 years of experience to the Administrative Assistant role.
Livable Cities Studio Hires New Urban Designer
Denver-based urban design and landscape architecture studio, Livable Cities Studio, has hired Erin Bozarth as an urban designer. She brings to the firm a background in urban planning and a unique interest in a broadly accessible public realm, with a focus on encouraging users of all ages to make healthier, active choices within the built environment. Erin earned her Master of Urban Planning at the University of Michigan, where she focused on physical design and land use planning.
Prior to joining Livable Cities Studio, Erin worked for four years in Boston as a director of active design, advising institutional landowners on how to improve their ground floor environments, either in the planning stages or after project completion. Her project experience includes ground floor activation advisory on large, mixed-use master planning projects; public realm programming and placemaking; strategic and conceptual urban design; and storytelling for city building projects.
Brinkman Promotes Director of Real Estate & Asset Management
Development and investment company, Brinkman, has promoted Ashley Davidson to director of real estate and asset management. In this elevated role, she will continue her current leadership of the company’s real estate management team as well as adding asset management functions to her duties.
With more than a decade of property management experience spanning across multi-family, mixed use, office, retail, and garage operations, Ashley brings extensive expertise in leasing across multiple real estate sectors and providing direct support to tenants to ensure their success. Her portfolio includes the management of nearly 3 million SF over her career including several multi-family, retail, office, commercial and value-add ground-up projects.
Brinkman’s diverse and robust real estate portfolio includes properties across Colorado in differing sectors to position the company for success throughout all stages of the market cycle. As Director of Real Estate & Asset Management, Ashley will oversee the strategic direction of the Brinkman portfolio to determine long-term planning and forecasting through efficient operations and leasing. She will lead the strategy for Brinkman assets to ensure cultivation of market value to increase investor returns through a focus on long-term capital investment, a systematic approach to governance and successful tenant relations.
Stonebridge Companies Adds Vice President of Hotel Operations to Corporate Office
Stonebridge Companies — a Denver-based, privately owned, innovative hotel owner, operator and developer with a rapidly expanding footprint — has added Shauna Sandage to its corporate team as vice president of hotel operations. Sandage supports Stonebridge Companies’ team of more than 3,100 associates and portfolio comprising 62 hotels with more than 10,500 guest rooms nationwide.
As Vice President of hotel operations, Sandage is responsible for ensuring that all hotel operations are carried out to Stonebridge Companies’ and brand standards, and that Stonebridge’s properties consistently deliver Distinguished Hospitality™ for superior guest service. With more than 13 years of experience in hospitality operations, she has supported the Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt and IHG brands. Sandage began her career with Summit Group in 2006 as general manager, and most recently she served as director of operations and revenue management at KWB, LLC.
Sandage’s leadership extends into the community. For seven years, Sandage has also actively supported Advocates for Children – CASA, which assists the Arapahoe County district in Colo. To support the organization, which serves abused and neglected children, she has hosted or co-chaired numerous fundraising events and served as a board member for five years.
