Avison Young Names Winters Heafey as Vice President in the Hospitality Group

Global commercial real estate advisor Avison Young announced the addition of Winters Heafey as vice president in the Denver office, where he joins the Hospitality Group.

In his new role, Heafey will partner with Senior Hotel Broker Chris Kilcullen and Associate Michael Agnew, who specialize in hospitality investment sales throughout Colorado and across the United States. The team advises owners, investors, and developers on hotel acquisitions, dispositions, and strategic investment opportunities.

Heafey brings more than a decade of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young, having held brokerage and advisory roles with Rocky Mountain Investment Properties, Required Properties, Savills and Cresa, along with a distinguished record of leadership and community service. Prior to entering the real estate industry, he served in the U.S. Army, developing the discipline, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills that have contributed to his success throughout his career.

S. A. Miro, Inc. Hires Three Structural Design Engineers

S. A. Miro, Inc., a consulting engineering firm providing civil and structural engineering to public and private sector clients, announces that it has added Hayden Stolcis, Noah Cummings, and Kenny Garcia Pena as structural design engineers.  

As structural design engineers, Stolcis, Cummings and Garcia Pena will assist in preparing and reviewing project documents and engineering calculations for traditional and non-traditional building systems utilizing different structural systems and different materials, including steel, concrete, wood, mass timber and masonry.  Although their work will focus on a variety of markets, they will have a particular role in the company’s focus on data centers, commercial, healthcare, education, large-scale mixed-use, parks, and parking.

Stolcis has nearly one year of industry experience and earned a Master of Science in structural engineering and structural mechanics from the University of Colorado Boulder. 

Bringing two years of experience as a design engineer, Cummings has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Wyoming.

Garcia Pena has more than two years of experience as a civil engineer and earned a Master of Science in structural engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.  

W.E. O’Neil Promotes Ryan Dickinson to Vice President of Operations

W.E. O’Neil Construction announced the promotion of Ryan Dickinson from project executive to vice president of operations, effective September 1, 2026. In his new role, Ryan will lead operational strategy across the Colorado region, providing executive oversight for project delivery, safety, client relationships, and team development while supporting the company’s continued growth and commitment to excellence.

Ryan joined W.E. O’Neil in 2016 and has played an instrumental role in the company’s success over the last decade. During his tenure, he has held several leadership positions and built a reputation for fostering collaboration, strengthening client partnerships, and delivering complex projects across a variety of markets. With more than 27 years of construction industry experience and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, Ryan brings expertise in estimating, project management, and operations leadership.
