SLAM Denver Office Names New Principal
Architectural firm S/L/A/M Collaborative recently named five new principals, including a member of the SLAM Denver office, Russell Sedmak.
On March 6, 2020, SLAM completed the acquisition of five CBRE I Heery architectural design practices focused on healthcare, sports facilities and justice, adding to the firms existing education, corporate, healthcare and sports/recreation practices. These new principals, and approximately 70 Heery employees, joined SLAM’s team of 210 professionals.
With more than 33 years of experience, Russell Sedmak is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, he has led the award-winning design of large and technically complex healthcare projects. His expertise includes master plans, phased renovations, additions and Greenfield medical campuses. His clients have included University of Colorado Health; Yale New Haven Hospital, Aspen Valley Hospital; Denver Health Medical Center; Poudre Valley Health System in Fort Collins, CO; VA Medical Center at Cheyenne, WY.
Atlas Real Estate Hires Three New Property Managers
Atlas Real Estate has recently expanded its team with three new property managers.
Nicole Harris joins Atlas with 10-years of experience in multifamily property management. She has managed A-C class assets all across metro Denver. Nicole’s expertise lies in large apartment communities including 120-300-units. She understands the unique challenges that come with successfully managing properties of scale.
Nicole is passionate about making personal connections with Atlas residents and works hard on behalf of property owners to successfully manage not only the physical property, but the relationships within it.
Real estate is always evolving and over the past nine years, Ryan Borchert’s expertise has evolved with it. Prior to joining Atlas, Ryan worked in various roles in facility management and operations in large multi-use public facilities. Most recently, this included working at a University in Michigan and in Colorado for the City of Commerce City. While employed for the university, Ryan spent time as a Movement Science Instructor educating students on topics in outdoor education including backpacking and camping.
Working in large multi-use facility operations with many moving parts pushed him to refine his skills in time management, customer service, communication and problem solving skills that he uses every day to serve both residents and property owners alike.
Kasey Love joins the Atlas team in Denver as a property manager. She graduated from Metro State University with a degree in broadcast journalism and as captain of the women’s tennis team. She joins the Atlas team with expertise in project management and customer service.
CBRE Promotes Mark Lodmill to Executive Vice President
Mark Lodmill, MAI in CBRE’s Denver office has been promoted to executive vice president with CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory Services. Mr. Lodmill has over 20 years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience, including providing consultations, reviews, market studies, rent analyses, feasibility studies and litigation support.
“This prestigious title is awarded to a limited few in our group who represent the best in their field. Mark’s dedication, tenacity and tenure has led him and his team to be the recognized market leader in multifamily valuations,” said Justin Atwell, managing director of CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory Services in Colorado.
Mr. Lodmill leads a team of professionals focused on multifamily valuations throughout the Front Range. He is also a member of CBRE’s Student Housing and National Multifamily groups. He is a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), a member of the Apartment Association of Metro Denver and a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Colorado.
