Ware Malcomb Announces New Land Surveying Manager
Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, announced Justin C. Scheitler has joined the firm as land surveying manager in the Denver Civil Engineering office. In this position, Scheitler leads and manages Ware Malcomb’s Land Surveying Group for clients across Colorado.
Ware Malcomb has provided surveying services for clients in the past, and the strategic hire of Scheitler will provide a comprehensive and consistent approach and grow the firm’s land surveying services.
Services provided by Ware Malcomb’s Land Surveying Group include ALTA surveys, subdivision platting, design surveys, and topographic surveys, among others. The firm’s land surveying projects range in size from a few acres to thousands of acres. The seamless integration between Ware Malcomb’s land surveying services and the in-house civil engineering and architecture teams provides cost-savings and efficiency benefits to clients.

Scheitler is a professional land surveyor, licensed in the State of Colorado, with more than 14 years of experience in the profession. His previous surveying experience includes commercial, residential, railroad, drainage and bathymetric surveys and construction surveys. He holds an Associate of Applied Science in Land Surveying from the Denver Institute of Technology/Westwood College. He is a member of the Professional Land Surveyors of Colorado Central Chapter, the Western Federation of Professional Surveyors and The National Society of Professional Surveyors.

Serieno joins Avison Young from CBRE, where he was senior vice president within its Advisory & Transaction Services Office. Over the course of his career, Serieno has represented more than 15 million square feet of space across 60 office projects.
In addition, Chad Alexander joins Avison Young as a senior associate in Denver. Alexander also joins from CBRE and will continue to focus on office leasing alongside Serieno.
Progressive Commercial Interiors Firm VESTA Adds Project Manager
VESTA, a Denver-based commercial interiors general contractor with a modern approach to construction and client service, recently welcomed Project Manager Dylan Loch to its team.
With nearly a decade of construction, project management and engineering experience, Loch will lead tenant improvement projects from conception through occupancy while partnering with clients, subcontractors, designers and architects to deliver high-quality interiors within VESTA’s growing portfolio.

Prior to joining VESTA, Loch served as a project manager for Executive Construction, Inc. in Chicago. In addition to overseeing corporate tenant interior and ground-up commercial projects, Loch spearheaded business development initiatives and established strong working relationships with important project stakeholders.

Matt Oermann Moves to Senior Living Division at United Properties
United Properties announced that Matt Oermann has moved to a new role as senior development manager within the senior housing group, effective Nov. 1, 2019. As Senior Development Manager, Oermann will play an integral role in the expansion of United Properties’ senior living business in the Colorado market.
“Senior housing is a fast-growing area within United Properties, and we’re pleased to have Matt on our team as we build on the success of our first senior housing collaboration in the Colorado market, Balfour of Littleton, and introduce Colorado residents to our successful senior living co-op model, Applewood Pointe,” said Mark Nelson, executive vice president, residential development, United Properties.
Oermann joined United Properties in 2015 and was promoted to senior development manager in March 2019. He has worked on various aspects of development, from construction management, sales, acquisitions, sourcing, underwriting and more, working primarily on the INOVA developments. Oermann will continue to oversee the initial phase of the INOVA Aero development while he transitions to senior housing.
Prior to joining United Properties, Oermann spent 12 years in design and construction management with Project One Integrated Services and Turner Construction. He holds an MBA in entrepreneurship, finance and real estate from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Michigan.
