Cresa Welcomes Senior Project Manager and Advisor to its Denver Office

Cresa, a tenant-focused commercial real estate firm, has welcomed senior project manager Iris Foster and advisor, Dan Hicks to its Denver office.

“Adding Iris to our team was a huge win for the Cresa team,” said Bill Baldwin, managing principal at Cresa. “Her wealth of knowledge and experience has enhanced the full-service capabilities we provide our clients.”

Iris has extensive and diverse commercial real estate experience representing tenants throughout North America. Her technical expertise relates to project management, construction management, real estate development, lease negotiation and asset management, as well as the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties. Iris came to Cresa most recently from Red Robin where she managed 425 restaurant remodels. She has a master’s degree in real estate and construction management from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado.

As an advisor, Dan will provide successful, conflict-free solutions to office tenants while aligning their real estate needs to their business goals. Dan was most recently a residential realtor where he advised first time home buyers and trade up buyers on acquisition strategy, market conditions and offer structuring. Prior to gaining real estate experience, Dan had a background in financial services working with Fidelity Investments, Western Union and Alps Fund Services. Dan has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Texas Tech University.

Nathaniel Perry joins HFF as a Director in its Denver Office

Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P. (HFF) announced today that Nathaniel Perry has joined the firm as a director in its Denver office.  Mr. Perry will work alongside HFF’s Jules Sherwood with a focus on office and industrial investment advisory transactions in the Denver and Rocky Mountain region.   

Mr. Perry joins HFF from Transwestern, where he was a senior associate in its investment services group.  During this time, he closed more than $28 million in commercial real estate transactions, setting a new price point for each submarket or property type at the time of closing.  He began his career as a sales associate with CLR in Santa Ana, California.  Mr. Perry is a licensed real estate broker in Colorado and has a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Denver.

He is actively involved with the ULI of Colorado to support his passion for multifamily development.

Will Cheever leads KEPHART’s Quality Support team. Since joining the firm in 2015, Will has overseen the completion of numerous multifamily communities. He generously shares his vast knowledge of the building code, architectural best practices and constructability with our team to ensure our construction sets are the highest quality.

Anne Frye of Stonebridge Companies Joins Cherry Creek Chamber Board of Directors

Anne Frye, regional director of sales and marketing at Denver-based hotel owner, operator and developer Stonebridge Companies, has been selected to join the board of directors of the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce, which works to connect local business leaders and provide service to the local community. Frye joins a Board comprised of a diverse group of local experts that represent both small and larger businesses in the community.

“It is a great honor to be accepted to the Cherry Creek Chamber Board of Directors,” said Anne Frye, regional director of sales and marketing at Stonebridge Companies. “The Cherry Creek Chamber has established itself as a unique and proactive connector for Denver leaders, and I am thrilled for the opportunity to work alongside these experts to further worthwhile initiatives in our business community.” 

In her role at the corporate office of Stonebridge Companies, Frye oversees the sales and marketing efforts of twelve hotels across Colorado and in New York City. Four of the properties she is responsible for are members of the Cherry Creek Chamber including the Residence Inn Cherry Creek; Hilton Garden Inn Cherry Creek; Courtyard by Marriott Cherry Creek; and The Jacquard Hotel & Rooftop, planned to open in the summer.

Cushman & Wakefield | Colorado Springs Commercial Welcomes Executive Managing Director Steve Kohls

Cushman & Wakefield | Colorado Springs Commercial recently announced that Steve Kohls has joined its Colorado Springs office as an executive managing director, focusing on sales and leasing services for office, commercial land and new development projects. Mr. Kohls brings nearly 20 years of commercial real estate brokerage experience, including representing more than $350 million in sales and lease transactions and playing an instrumental role in 4.8 million square feet of Class A office and mixed-use projects. He has sourced, negotiated and facilitated numerous value-add and off-market commercial property investment and development opportunities on behalf of a variety of clients.

One of Mr. Kohls most-notable projects is Rivulon, a $750 million, 3.5 million-square-foot office, retail and hotel development built on a former agricultural site in Gilbert, Arizona. Previously an alfalfa field, Mr. Kohls brought development vision to the freeway property, completing four transactions for 120 acres of the initial assemblage by Nationwide Realty Investors.  The project will nearly double the town’s office footprint, introduced the first-Class A space to the market and was successful in attracting top-tier tenants including Blackstone, Merrill Lynch and Mercedes-Benz.

Spending a total of 12 years with the firm, Mr. Kohls was the youngest agent at Lee & Associates to achieve the title of principal/shareholder and the youngest to be nominated and elected to serve on the firm’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Kohls graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
