Ted Laszlo of Vertix Builders Named President of the Design Build Institute of America, Rocky Mountain Region
Vertix Builders announces that the company’s co-founder, Ted Laszlo, has been appointed president of the Design Build Institute of America, Rocky Mountain Region (DBIA-RMR). In his role, Laszlo will help to direct the DBIA’s commitment to promoting and supporting the successful use of the design-build project delivery method locally as well as regionally.

Ted is a true construction industry advocate, and his positive and engaging approach allows designers and contractors to come together to solve even the most difficult problems. Outside of his day-to-day role as Vice President of Vertix Builders, Ted has worked with the University of Colorado teaching young professionals and provides continuing education for DBIA and AIA groups throughout the region. Ted’s passion for construction and advancing the industry is well known and apparent on each of the projects he is involved with.
The RMH Group Congratulates Mechanical Engineer Matt Guerin for Passing the Professional Engineer Exam
The RMH Group (RMH) proudly announced this week that Matt Guerin recently passed the Professional Engineer (P.E.) exam in mechanical engineering and is now a licensed engineer in Colorado. Guerin, who has been with RMH for his entire professional career, has five years of experience designing mechanical systems for higher education facilities, central plants, research & development facilities, laboratories, manufacturing facilities, office buildings, and water/wastewater facilities. He holds a B.S. degree in architectural engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Hord Coplan Macht Expands Healthcare Practice with Addition of Tina L. Dumond
Hord Coplan Macht recently announced that it is expanding its healthcare practice in Denver with the addition of Tina L. Du Mond, AIA, ACHA, EDAC, LEED GA, as senior healthcare architect. Du Mond brings more than 13 years of experience to the firm and is board certified by the American College of Healthcare Architects. She will collaborate with Mary Morissette, FAIA, principal at Hord Coplan Macht, to expand the healthcare practice for the Denver office and guide the design and construction of new healthcare projects.
Du Mond’s past clients include University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus, Spectrum Health System, HealthOne, Banner Health, Catholic Health Initiatives, SCL Health and many independent rural healthcare providers.

Du Mond has a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Colorado, Denver and a Bachelor of Science from Metro State.
