Narrate Companies, Shaw Construction and OZ Architecture will celebrate the ground breaking of 1230 S Pearl next month. Located along old South Pearl Street, the project will consist of 72 for rent units over approximately 6,000 square feet of prime retail and restaurant space. According to Shaw, this project will provide a new high-end boutique living experience in the supply constrained submarket of Platt Park.
1230 S Pearl is located just 300 feet from the Louisiana/Pearl light rail station providing easy access to all of metro Denver and has 225,000 vehicles pass the site each day along I-25.
The five-story building will include one-story of below-grade parking. The structure will consist of concrete podium above grade and four stories of wood-frame.
OZ Architecture is excited to see the multi-family, mixed-use project come to life. “The Wayfarer design embraces the very unique site geometry and serves as the masthead for South Pearl Street and the Platte Park neighborhood.”
The ground floor provides ample covered patio space to activate the street edge, and floor 5 features a unique indoor/outdoor amenity with unimpeded views of the Front Range. According to OZ, the architecture is meant to be timeless, as the building skin will be constructed largely of masonry, with a very intentional set of details found about the perimeter.
