DENVER, CO – MKK Consulting Engineers, Inc. (MKK), a mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sustainable design firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Stephanie Gerakos-Rooker, PE, LEED AP as a Mechanical Engineer to the Greenwood Village office.
Stephanie joins MKK with over 10 years’ experience in HVAC systems design, net zero solutions, and project and client management experience. Stephanie will advance MKK’s mission of high performance by combining her sustainability experience with deliberate, energy-saving solutions that provide long-term value to owners, while maintaining occupant comfort. Stephanie was the lead designer on Locust Trace Agriscience Farm, the nation’s third Net Zero Energy School, featured in “Green Building and Design Magazine,” July/August 2013. In addition to design solutions for institutional clients, Stephanie has worked with many hospital systems throughout the Southeast, including the Mayo Clinic, to retrofit existing systems.
