LAKEWOOD — Wood Partners, a national leader in multi-family real estate development and acquisition, has started construction on Alta Green Mountain in Lakewood.
Comprised of 260 garden-style homes, Alta Green Mountain is located at 13155 West Mississippi Court and is one of only four new market-rate rental properties to come online in the North Lakewood submarket since 2010.
“Alta Green Mountain provides much needed, high-quality housing to this area,” said Tim McEntee, managing director for Wood Partners. “Future residents will have immediate access to the amenities, culture and retail hotspots they have come to expect from North Lakewood while enjoying immediate access to high-powered career opportunities and spectacular mountain and city views.”
Studio PBA has been working with long-time client Wood Partners to prepare the site of the Alta Green Mountain project for almost 12 months.
Located just minutes from downtown Denver, the Denver Tech Center and the Denver Federal Center – the largest concentration of federal employees outside of Washington D.C. – Alta Green Mountain is within walking distance to the new St. Anthony’s hospital. The community is also centrally located in a transit-friendly area, in close proximity to the Denver Federal Center light rail station.
“Alta Green Mountain will be similar to Wood Partners’ wildly successful property, Alta Pinehurst, located in South Lakewood, which has enjoyed tremendous success,” said McEntee. ” We are excited to replicate that Class A experience for the new, North Lakewood submarket.”
The units are comprised of one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans and nearly fifty percent of the units have attached garages. Community-wide amenities include a clubhouse with fitness center and cyber café, a resort-style swimming pool, and a bike/ski repair shop, as well as car charging stations. Interior finishes include granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and 42-inch wood cabinetry.
Opening in August 2019, Alta Green Mountain totals 260 units. Pre-leasing will begin in July 2019.
Wood Partners has developed nine other properties in Colorado including the Glass House and Alta SoBo Station, in Denver’s Baker neighborhood, that is scheduled to deliver in 2019.
