New Report Says Denver is No. 6 ‘Boomtown’

Denver was listed as the nation’s No. 6 “boomtown,” ahead of Dallas and Seattle.

To come up with its list of 100 cities, credit-card website MagnifyMoney indicated it used data from the U.S. Census American Community Survey and County Business Patterns in categories such as population and housing, workforce and earnings, and business growth.

Austin, Texas, ranked No. 1 on the “boomtown” list, followed by Provo, Utah, Raleigh, N.C., Charleston, S.C., and Nashville, Tenn.
