DENVER – FareHarbor, the world’s largest reservation platform for activity providers and concierge desks, today announced plans to move its Denver-based corporate headquarters from Capitol Hill into a 25,000-square-foot space at 1515 Cleveland Place in Downtown Denver.

The fivefold increase from the present location in Capitol Hill was prompted by FareHarbor’s rapid growth over the past year. Despite a turbulent time in the tours and activities space, which caused two competitors to close their doors, FareHarbor has continued to experience hyper growth without raising institutional venture capital.

FareHarbor, a startup company founded in 2013, now has the most utilized activity software platform in the world with a plurality of activity suppliers using its services, according to a recent
report by Phocuswright, a leading market researcher for the travel, tourism and hospitality.

FareHarbor will move into the new space in mid-September. The expanded corporate headquarters will house 100 of FareHarbor’s 180 total employees and will accommodate an anticipated doubling of staff in the Denver location in the years ahead. While FareHarbor has seen sustained growth since early 2014, it secured a large spike in market share last July after capturing 90 percent of the revenue of a failing competitor.

The company’s Denver headquarters is the largest of its five office locations across the U.S. and houses the company’s account management, onboarding, support, website building and partnerships teams, as well as the company’s CEO, Lawrence Hester.

“We are extremely excited about the opportunity this new facility presents,” Hester said. “This will be our third move to a larger space in less than three years. We feel very lucky to have our headquarters in Denver, whose vibrant startup culture attracts a rich pool of smart, driven talent. It’s been hugely beneficial to our growth, and we’re thrilled to continue our expansion here.”

“Although many startups call Denver home, a five-fold increase in square footage is truly impressive and a testament to the strength and innovation behind FareHarbor’s platform. With their new headquarters location downtown, FareHarbor is stepping out of the ranks and firmly positioning itself as the global technology leader within the travel tours and activities industry,” said Matt Harbert of CBRE, who represented FareHarbor in the lease negotiations alongside Lee Diamond.
