Pinkard Construction has announced its fourth annual Careers in Construction golf tournament, benefiting ACE Scholarships. The event will take place on June 26 at the Country Club at Castle Pines. The previous year’s tournament raised over $100,000. The resulting 36 scholarships allow the recipients to attend the private K-12 school of their choice.
Pinkard President Tony Burke says he sees an opportunity to nurture the next-generation workforce of the construction industry in Colorado and hopes that these scholarships provide enhanced access to all Colorado students.
“Last year, 17 Colorado companies and individuals provided generous sponsorships that made the tournament such a success,” said Burke. “This year, we hope to bring even more much-needed investment into the workforce of our future. Construction is experiencing an unprecedented labor shortage, so we are pleased to partner with organizations like ACE to help encourage students to pursue a rewarding career in construction.”
Brittani Johnson, vice president of development for ACE Colorado, said that ACE Scholarships is proud to be the beneficiary of Pinkard’s 4th Annual Careers in Construction Golf Tournament.

And for 21 years, we have been working to fulfill that vision. By providing partial tuition scholarships for low-income students to attend the K-12 private school of their choice, ACE scholars are graduating high school, prepared for college and a fulfilling career.”
Sponsorship benefits include a hole sponsorship with logo/Image/signage, drink tickets, additional guest invitations to the post-tournament event at “The Crags,” and recognition in all tournament marketing materials and signage.
