Platte Valley Medical Center Renovation Complete

GH Phipps has announced the successful completion of the SCL Health Platte Valley Medical Center’s Third Floor Medical/Surgical Unit Renovation. The general contractor joined Platte Valley’s executive team, staff and members of the surrounding communities for a ribbon cutting and open house.

The renovation work included adding 28 new patient rooms that will provide a “patient-centric” healing environment for both patients and their families. The renovation work was completed on time and under budget.  GH Phipps worked with the design team from Boulder Associates Architects.

GH Phipps built the original hospital at the Platte Valley Medical Center in 2007. Today, it serves four of the fastest growing cities in Colorado.

“We’ve had a longstanding and successful relationship with Platte Valley Medical Center, and we’re looking forward to delivering more outstanding medical facilities to the organization for many years to come,” said Mike Pirog, director of Healthcare Operations for GH Phipps.  “Colorado’s growing population is putting greater demand on our local hospitals and medical centers to continue to provide the very best care to patients and their families.  We’re proud of our ability to help meet this demand by providing a team of professionals who are able to complete projects on time, on budget and deliver a better building experience.”
