Denver, CO – The Opus Group (Opus) recently announced the start of construction on a 122,500-square-foot speculative industrial development in Aurora. Known as Rangeview Industrial Center, the development will be located in the Majestic Commercenter business park.

“There is strong demand for industrial developments in the Denver area, and this project will offer a high-quality facility in a sought-after location,” said Peter Coakley, senior vice president and general manager, Opus Development Company, L.L.C. “Rangeview Industrial Center will be able to accommodate smaller industrial users that to-date have not been adequately served in this market, making it a much-needed facility for future tenants.”

The new building will be able to accommodate a single 122,500-square-foot user or multi-tenant occupancy for users between 40,000 – 80,000 square feet and will feature 32-foot clear height, 22 dock positions, two drive-in doors and flexible space outdoors for additional storage and trailer parking. Situated on 6.4 acres of land in the well-known northeast industrial submarket of Aurora, the development is located near the Denver International Airport and provides easy access to Interstate 70.

Construction on the project began August 2016 and is expected to be available for occupancy by the end of 2016.

Opus Development Company, L.L.C. is the developer of the project and Opus Design Build, L.L.C. is the design-builder. Ware Malcomb is the architect of record and Peak Engineering, Inc. is the structural engineer of record. Mike Wafer and Mike Wafer Jr. of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank are marketing the property for lease or sale.
