Register for Colorado Preservation, Inc.’s Saving Places® 2025 Conference

Colorado Preservation, Inc. (CPI) will host its 28th annual Saving Places® Conference: Rooted in Community, Culture, and Place: Celebrating Intangible Heritage for the first time ever in Colorado Springs at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort Wednesday, January 29 through Saturday, February 1, 2025.

Historic places are more than just physical landmarks — they are the living reflections of the traditions, stories, and cultural practices that define our communities. Join CPI for its annual Saving Places Conference and dive into the “Intangible Heritage” theme, exploring how customs, traditions, and knowledge passed down through generations are intertwined with the built environment. Elements of intangible heritage include the preservation of cultural diversity and community identity – family, faith, music, food, art, and language – which lie at the heart of community and Colorado’s historic resources.

CPI’s Saving Places Conference is a nationally recognized, dynamic four-day event featuring engaging speakers with more than 40 sessions, tours and networking opportunities. Each year content highlights the conference theme in addition to offering foundational sessions focused on core preservation concepts. Attendees will receive access to recorded session content six months after the conference and can register to join the event remotely through a live-stream option.

The Saving Places Conference is open to all! Register today at Saving Places 2025: Celebrating Intangible Heritage to take advantage of early-bird pricing.
