REI Co-op officially opens its new Loveland, Colorado store on Friday, Aug. 23. The specialty outdoor retailer invites the community to a three-day celebration filled with 30 outdoor brands, nonprofit partners, giveaways, music and more.

Located at Centerra Marketplace, the approximately 23,000-square-foot store features various outdoor gear and apparel for camping, hiking, cycling, climbing, running, fitness, and more. Certified mechanics in the bike shop can tune or repair equipment to help cyclists be trail and street-ready year-round. The co-op’s seasonal ski and snowboard shop offers various services such as waxing, mounting, and tune-ups.

“Our team of 50 staff are beyond excited to engage with the local community to educate and inspire everyone to get outside. Loveland has so many wonderful places to engage with the outdoors. Whether simply walking around a lake or sculpture garden or tearing down a trail on your mountain bike, we’re ready to get you set and stoked for your next adventure,” says REI Loveland Store Manager Bret McKenzie. “We’ve heard from many customers and potential partners who are excited to have a local REI. We look forward to helping progress the co-op’s initiatives in climate action, outdoor equity, and protecting the places we love. Let’s take action together!”
