R&R Engineers – Surveyors, Inc., one of Denver’s leading land surveying and civil engineering firms, operating primarily in the Rocky Mountain Region, is relocating its headquarters to a newly designed office located at 1635 W. 13th Ave., Suite 310, in the burgeoning Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Established in 1988, R&R has operated continuously in Denver for more than 30 years, building a diverse portfolio of innovative, thoughtful and successful professional engineering and surveying projects that range from Stanley Marketplace to the Denver Broncos Practice Facility Expansion. Collectively, R&R staff brings more than 150 years of combined knowledge, expertise and advanced qualifications to clients’ projects and the surrounding communities.

The new construction includes more than 8,000 square feet of space that provides the R&R team with electrochromic window glazing, automatically tinting all windows, while providing comfort and connection to the outdoors. A fifth floor balcony overlooks Mile High Stadium, and special event activity spaces have been built for staff.

“R&R is excited to move into our new office, a space that has been designed with our employees in mind including sit-stand desks in the work areas,” says Sheila Zappanti, PHR, human resources manager. “The new office floor plan will allow for better collaboration in and between departments with several open areas specifically designed for impromptu meetings.

The building was built with smart technology, including high-tech conference rooms, automated climate and security and fully programmable lighting, which keeps energy costs down and gives R&R staff and clientele high-quality efficiency and comfort.

“We have worked toward this move for over a year and the location, the class of building and the beauty of the space are even more dynamic than we could have imagined,” says R&R President Tony Smith. “Our dedication to our staff includes specific design to meet their needs.”

R&R sold the building where the company previously housed its offices and sought to make a move to a more contemporary space, while remaining dedicated to the amenities and history a downtown Denver neighborhood provides. Committed to community, R&R remains close to Platte and Cherry Creek bike paths. R&R’s new space also provides an onsite parking garage, an onsite gym, and amazing views to the mountains and the downtown skyline.

“R&R is using this move as an opportunity to realign office layout across departments for a more efficient and thoughtful design for workplace,” says Todd Smith, R&R executive vice president. “We are thrilled to be able to offer this facility to our clients, while also providing our colleagues a premier work environment.”
