Saunders Adds Two Senior Leaders to Executive Team

Centennial, CO –  Saunders Construction, Inc., is proud to announce the addition of two key leadership roles to its executive team –  ensuring continued growth and market presence in Northern Colorado and success on several of its high profile projects currently underway in Metro Denver.

On April 25th, Dave Sandlin, formerly a Saunders project executive, took over as Vice President of Fort Collins based- Heath Construction, LLC, where he will lead the company in conjunction with current President, Randy DeMario.  In 2014, Saunders Construction partnered with Heath Construction to create a new construction solutions provider in the Northern Colorado market – one that leverages Saunders’ experience and resources with Heath’s local relationships and resume.

“Sandlin moving into this position will provide a tremendous integration opportunity for the two organizations and will allow Heath to continue to grow its market presence in northern Colorado,” said Greg Schmidt, President and CEO of Saunders. “We anticipate continued growth in this special region and believe the addition of Dave Sandlin to the leadership team will ensure continued growth and success for Heath.”

Additionally, Saunders continues to grow its team in the Denver Metro area. Justin Cooper joins Saunders as Vice President of Project Development and will be involved in several of the company’s high profile projects in the Metro area, including the redevelopment of 9thand Colorado, 1709 Chestnut and The Colorado Health Foundation. Cooper’s experience will enhance the company’s project development capabilities and will ensure Saunders maintains its strong track record of on-time, high quality construction.

“These leadership additions allow Saunders to expand our business offering to new markets with the same passion and commitment that has helped us succeed to for the last four decades,” said Schmidt. “While we tend to fly under the radar, Saunders has played an integral role in the completion of many of the projects that have shaped Colorado’s landscape over the years, and we have enjoyed watching the state become the thriving place it is today.”
