“Gastamo Group has a history of building restaurants in neighborhoods we want to be in, and then meticulously designing the concepts to shine in their unique communities,” said Peter Newlin, Gastamo Group chief vision officer and co-founder of Lady Nomada. “It’s been a privilege to work in this partnership with Bridge33 Capital – the commercial real estate firm behind Belmar – over the past two years to build a restaurant that takes people away from their everyday life for a moment of peace even for 30 minutes. The restaurant was designed to make guests feel transported to a seaside town in Mexico.”
After sampling Mexican cuisine and exploring cooking techniques up and down the Mexican peninsula, Newlin and his restaurateur partner Gastamo Group CEO Jean-Philippe Failyau opened the first Lady Nomada location in Olde Town Arvada in August 2021. With the tremendous success, they began looking in 2022 for an up-and-coming neighborhood to build a second location.
“Between the chef-inspired Baja menu, the innovative coastal drink menu and the ambiance of Mexico tucked into Denver’s Westside neighborhood, we invite everyone inside for a reprieve from their busy lives,” said Failyau.
In addition to a full beer and wine list, the Mexican-inspired cocktail list also includes seven different types of margaritas, the island favorite Painkiller, and iconic Shot-O-Pus that serves up eight shots from its tentacles. There will also be lunch specials, and a vibrant happy hour with $5 house margaritas, $7 wine and $5 beer. Lady Nomada will be open daily from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Lady Nomada is part of the Gastamo Group, which also includes Park Burger, Homegrown Tap & Dough Italian restaurant that leans heavily into a Colorado theme, Park & Co. and Baja-meets-Wash Park Perdida. The group is going through a rapidly growing, yet strategic expansion, opening at least one major concept every year. Next year, they’re slated to open a 12,000-square-foot dual Perdida-Homegrown concept in Northglenn, Colo and an additional Homegrown in Parker, Colo.
