DENVER — Celebrating Colorado’s dynamic craft beer culture, with a focus on Colorado and hand-crafted brews, The Skyline Beer Garden will open for its third year at Skyline Park in downtown Denver on June 8th and will be open daily through October, weather permitting.
Produced by the Downtown Denver Partnership and Downtown Denver Business Improvement District, the family-friendly attraction is designed to engage residents, visitors and employees with the sounds of summer and will feature a selection of 12 different brews on tap and serve up casual fare including locally-made street tacos.
The Skyline Beer Garden features close to 40,000 square feet of outdoor area with vast open air and tented seating that will feature live music every Friday and Saturday. Weekly programming will also offer a host of evening activities including Sweat & Sip (exercise classes followed by beer), Trivia Night and a Meet the Maker series. The Beer Garden offers a fun and comfortable environment with communal Oktoberfest-style picnic tables that can collectively seat more than 350 guests and free WiFi. The family-friendly game area features giant jenga, foosball, ping pong, a nine-hole miniature golf course, and cornhole.
The Beer Garden is also the perfect spot for a private event. Reservations for parties of 20 or more are currently being accepted for special events and private gatherings including office happy hours, convention after-parties and gatherings, birthday celebrations and family get-togethers.
The Skyline Beer Garden supports strategies outlined in the 2007 Downtown Area Plan, the long-term strategy for downtown, including activating Skyline Park as a central gathering place for the downtown community, as well as creating an outdoor downtown that provides venues for residents, workers and visitors to gather, relax and play to foster balance between urban life and the outdoors.
