Slack Technologies Signs Lease at 16 Chestnut

San Francisco-based cloud messaging app company Slack Technologies announced it will open a new Denver office later this year.

San Francisco-based cloud messaging app company Slack Technologies, has signed a lease for space at 16 Chestnut in downtown Denver.

16 Chestnut is a joint project between East West Partners, Invesco Real Estate and Gensler architects. The 19-story, 410,000-square-foot building is adjacent to the light-rail station at Chestnut Place and 17th streets.

According to job advertisements posted on LinkedIn and Slack’s website, the new office is expected to house hundreds of employees.

Slack adds to the numerous other tech companies moving east to Denver that are eager to take advantage of the city’s vibrant tech scene.
