In 2020, Stober Elementary, located in Lakewood that hosts students from kindergarten to fifth grade, brought Golden Traingle Construction GTC and LOA Architects on to complete a 1,488-square-foot addition as well as a 29,794-square-foot renovation to its existing elementary school. The project partners are back to add another addition to the school that will host four classrooms and a brand-new music room. The kitchen equipment will also be removed and replaced with brand-new appliances. Construction is expected to come to an end in November 2023.

On Friday, September 15, students and staff participated in signing their names on one of the main beams that will be a part of this addition. They are now able to say that they will be bonded with this construction project forever, making this a special event. All grade levels were involved and it was a great way to introduce students to the construction industry. A couple of GTC’s staff members were on site in their construction jackets, and students were able to ask them questions and get to know more about the project that is going on at their school. Everyone was excited to see a physical piece of the addition in person, and they are looking forward to seeing the finished product of this project.
