Taurus Builders, a Denver-based full-service commercial construction firm, has acquired a nearly 4,000-square-foot building at 2715 W. 8th Ave. in the core of Denver’s Sun Valley neighborhood. The space will serve as a new home for Taurus, known for delivering high-quality tenant improvements focused on the office and restaurant industries, including Sap Sua and Hop Alley.
Taurus engaged Tributary Real Estate, a leading commercial real estate firm based in Colorado, to identify a long-term solution to fully customize their new space for day-to-day operations to accommodate their growing team. After exploring several options across the metro area, Tributary identified the 3,764-square-foot, single-story office-warehouse building, 2715 W 8th Ave. for its flexibility, opportunity for ownership, and central location with easy access to major routes, 6th Ave., I-25, and Federal Boulevard.
“Helping businesses bring their vision to life is what we do every day, so building a space for our own future is a meaningful milestone,” said Dave Ellena, principal at Taurus Builders. “We’re creating a workplace that reflects how we operate: detail-driven and welcoming to partners and clients. Tributary was instrumental in helping us find this location in Sun Valley to support our team and highlight the quality of work we’re proud to deliver.”
Taurus will be executing the design-build for the project. Planned improvements include refreshed building systems, updated exterior features, and a customized interior layout designed to support their team. The new office will reflect the same caliber of thoughtful craftsmanship that Taurus aims to deliver for its clients.
“Taurus’ space offers them the freedom to create a functional and flexible office while enjoying a strong connection to the neighborhoods that they continue to shape through their work,” said Andy Cullen, partner and managing broker at Tributary Real Estate. “We were proud to guide them through a strategic acquisition process and secure a property that will reflect the same standard of excellence they bring to their own tenant improvement work.”
With new infrastructure and community investment in Sun Valley, including over $500 million in new housing, parks, and infrastructure already underway, the area offers a strategic location for Taurus. The neighborhood’s revitalization includes the new Sun Valley Riverfront Park, a food incubator supporting local entrepreneurs, and enhanced connectivity to downtown via light rail and pedestrian paths.
Tributary Real Estate represented Taurus in the transaction; Gruber Commercial Real Estate Services represented the seller, Abarca Investments Trust.
