Taylor Kohrs, a Colorado-based general contractor for 40 years, recently completed construction of the first phase of Farmhouse Villas, a 78-unit housing complex in Parker. The 13-acre space of native land is transforming into a market-rate rental complex that will include a clubhouse, swimming pool, carports, and additional shared common spaces. Residents began moving into the first phase – consisting of 20 units in four buildings – in March 2023.
In total, 78 units will be spread across 14 buildings and be comprised of 4-plex and 6-plex villa-style homes with garages that are prepped for EV charging capabilities. To accommodate those that work from home, there are dual retreat floorplans that feature a walk-up loft and can double as an office.
“Our community needs more market-rate housing to serve those who reside in the Denver area and those who plan to relocate here,” said Taylor Kohrs Project Manager TJ Cavarra. “Taylor Kohrs is proud to be a part of bringing more housing to Parker residents.”
The project – designed by Godden | Sudik for Elkco Properties and Bradbury Companies – also includes grading, earthwork, utilities, and public utility coordination.
Elkco Properties manages more than 2,000 apartment units and approximately 1.5 million sq. ft. of retail and mixed-use commercial real estate throughout Colorado, Wyoming, Michigan, Iowa, Nebraska and Missouri.
