The Balfour at Riverfront Park, a luxury senior living development located at 1550 Little Raven St., in downtown Denver, has sold for $118 million, according to the Denver Business Journal.
Ohio-based Welltower, a real estate investment firm that focuses on housing for seniors and medical office buildings, purchased the property that is recognized as one of the top urban housing developments for seniors in the country. In 2016, the Downtown Denver Partnership also recognized the development as one of the top six most influential projects for downtown.
This year, Welltower also purchased a $1.25 billion portfolio from Orlando-based CNL Financial for 55 Class A medical office buildings, according to TheRealDeal.com.
