DENVER – Denver-based Stonebridge Companies, a privately owned, innovative hotel management company headquartered near Denver, celebrated the topping off of its newest hotel, The Jacquard, on Tuesday. In partnership with Autograph Collection Hotels – Marriott International’s curated portfolio of hotels recognized for celebrating individuality – the new centerpiece of the fashionable Cherry Creek North neighborhood.

The Jacquard — a 201-room hotel with 6,900 sq. ft. of meeting space – will open early 2018 as part of Marriott International’s curated portfolio of Autograph Collection Hotels. Located at the corner of Second Avenue and Milwaukee Street, the hotel, and its stunning rooftop pool and bar, will be the new centerpiece of the neighborhood. The hotel is actually the third hotel to built in Cherry Creek North in less than two years, indicating that the area shows no signs of slowing down.

Named after the early 19th century innovator, Joseph Marie Jacquard, known for developing the process to automate the patterning of textiles, The Jacquard will weave together intrigue and elegance through bespoke experiences, stunning art collections, tasteful design and sophisticated dining.

To celebrate the unveiling of the hotel’s name, local community members and partners gathered on the rooftop of the Cherry Creek Room & Board on Tuesday evening, overlooking the new hotel, currently under construction. World-renown performance painter Brian Olsen creatively revealed the hotel’s name to guests with a live art performance. Masterfully painting a mural in a matter of minutes that evokes the essence of The Jacquard, the art piece created by Olsen, will be featured in the hotel once construction is complete.

“We are thrilled to officially announce The Jacquard to the public and look forward to seeing the hotel flourish not only as a meeting place for travelers from around the world, but as a gathering spot for locals” said Navin Dimond, president and chief executive officer of Stonebridge Companies. “The hotel will be committed to honoring the sophisticated nature of Cherry Creek, bringing upscale accommodations and a distinct experience not found elsewhere in the city.”
