Landmark Properties, a fully integrated real estate investment firm specializing in the development, construction, acquisition, and operation of high-quality residential communities, has announced the delivery of The Mark Fort Collins, a 397-bed off-campus student housing community at 255 Johnson Drive in Fort Collins, just 0.37 miles from Colorado State University. The project was developed in partnership with Silverpeak Real Estate Partners and Peninsula Investments.
The six-story development was designed by Mode 3 Architecture, with Landmark Construction, the construction arm of Landmark Properties, serving as the project’s general contractor.
“The Mark Fort Collins demonstrates the unique capabilities of Landmark’s vertically integrated platform, including the strength of our development and construction teams,” said Jason Doornbos, chief development officer of Landmark Properties. “Landmark and our joint venture partners took over a stalled project from a previous developer, restarted construction, and delivered a high-quality asset — welcoming our first residents starting on August 1st.”
The Mark Fort Collins features 193 units in a mix of studio to four-bedroom layouts. Residents enjoy fully furnished apartments that are wired for high-speed internet and cable, in-unit laundry, large closets, and hardwood-style floors in the living areas. Bedrooms contain en-suite bathrooms, while gourmet kitchens feature stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and ample cabinet space.
The Mark Fort Collins offers residents approximately 39,000 square feet of competitive amenity space, including a heated outdoor pool and sun shelf, a sky deck and lounge, three courtyards, a gaming lawn, multiple firepits with seating areas, a hammock grove, and outdoor grilling spots. The property also features a fitness center, coffee bar, sports simulator, private study and coworking rooms, and a wellness center.
The Mark Fort Collins’ central location provides a short walk to dining, retail and entertainment on South College Avenue, the Spring Creek bus station, as well as attractions such as The Gardens on Spring Creek and Spring Park. Residents benefit from a private shuttle to and from campus.
This is Landmark’s second project in Fort Collins — The Standard at Fort Collins, a 777-bed student housing community, was delivered in fall 2020. In Colorado, Landmark also owns and operates Saga Boulder, and is set to deliver The Standard at Boulder in 2027.
