The Promenade Shops at Briargate is welcoming four additions to its best-in-class retail and restaurant lineup over the next couple of months. As part of the center’s strategy to bring exciting new energy to Colorado Springs, Seoul BBQ, Arhaus, Fjällräven and Columbia Sportswear will open their doors at the premier dining and shopping destination throughout the year.

“We are thrilled to welcome these new tenants to The Promenade Shops at Briargate’s family,” said Debby LaMotte, general property manager at The Shops. “The variety of national and local tenants will bring new and unique offerings to the Colorado Springs’ community, building on our momentum to modernize The Shops and appeal to a wide range of customers.”

Seoul BBQ will be the first of the tenants to open at The Shops in May, bringing delicious and authentic Korean barbecue dishes to the mix. Located in Suite 243 next to Menya Ramen & Poke, Seoul will feature high-quality ingredients with a bit of a cultural twist, an incredible atmosphere and an interactive spin allowing guests to prepare meals from their own tables. Founder and Chef, JW Lee, began his culinary career in Korea and has opened more than 20 restaurants since coming to the United States, one being Menya Ramen, also located on the property.

Fjällräven, an outdoor clothing and equipment company, is also expected to open in May. The store will cover 2,950 square feet and complement the community’s love of nature by offering timeless, functional, and durable outdoor equipment. Columbia Sportswear, a leading innovator in active outdoor apparel, footwear and equipment, will open in June. Moving into a 5,200-square-foot space, the store will feature a huge variety of high-performance outerwear, footwear, sportswear, camping equipment and more.

“We are excited to bring Columbia Sportswear to Colorado Springs, a city with a vibrant local community with limitless adventure right outside our doors,” said David Lawner, senior vice president of DTC. “The Pikes Peak region alone has over 350 miles of trails perfect for hiking, running or biking and some incredible fishing locations like Crystal Creek and Monument Lake. Whether you’re on the water or hitting the trails, Columbia’s performance apparel, footwear and accessories will ensure you stay warm, dry, cool and protected. Whatever the weather forecast looks like, we’ve got you covered and the timing of our grand opening at The Promenade Shops at Briargate means you can gear up for your summer adventures.”

Arhaus, a premium home furnishings retailer that offers an exclusive assortment of heirloom-quality furniture and décor, will open its doors in June in a 15,000-square-foot space. With a mission to create sustainably sourced and built-to-last pieces, the brand partners with artisans around the world to craft luxurious furniture for all types of homes.

In addition to the new retail and restaurant offerings at The Shops, the destination is home to a myriad of events throughout the year including Music Under the Mountains, a free concert series celebrating the best in local musical talent, and Movie Nights Under the Stars, a chance for the community to enjoy film favorites with beautiful views of Pikes Peak Mountain.
