According to the Denver Business Journal, Denver-based Invent Development Partners plans to develop a new mixed-use development in RiNo, to include a 12-story residential tower and an eight-story select service hotel. Invent closed on approximately $24.8 million of land in the River North Art District near RTD’s 38th and Blake on Tuesday, July 30.

Invent’s website states that the property consists of approximately 125,000 square feet of land currently known as the General Welding Supply (bordered by 40th Street, Walnut Street and Blake Street) and MileHi Express (bordered by 40th Street, Walnut Street and Franklin Street) properties. The property is bisected by Walnut Street.

Denver-based Davis Partnership Architects is the architect for the project.
