Denver – Transwestern announced this week it was named one of the 2017 Top Workplaces by The Denver Post. The commercial real estate firm was chosen out of hundreds of companies from various industries.

“We are thrilled to have been recognized for this impressive achievement, which speaks to our ability to recruit and attract top talent,” said Lee Wallis, Senior Vice President of Asset Management. “Transwestern is intentional in creating a collaborative and entrepreneurial work environment that enables our employees to grow professionally and provide the best possible service to our clients.”

Transwestern’s Denver office consists of 85 team members in leasing, investment services and property management. Some incentives Transwestern provides its team members include full health care and benefits packages; two personal paid days off; eight hours of paid community service; group personal training sessions twice a week; sponsored training and skills development; certifications and memberships; formal mentorship program; a young professionals program providing monthly networking, charitable and educational events; holiday parties; and social events such as golf outings, March Madness pools, and monthly birthday celebrations.

Transwestern was recognized at The Denver Post’s Top Workplaces 2017 awards ceremony April 4 at the Seawell Grand Ballroom in downtown Denver. Finalists were determined by an employee engagement survey about team effectiveness, trust in senior leadership and alignment with company goals.

On a national level, Transwestern was recognized by Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work® as one of the 100 Best Workplaces for Women for the second consecutive year.
