Vancouver, British Columbia-based Amacon is proposing two 39-story towers on two parcels at 1800 Welton St. and 1925 N. Broadway in downtown Denver.

According to concept plans filed by Denver-based architecture firm Davis Partnership Architects on April 24, 2023, the 667,150-square-foot residential project will include 611 for-sale condo units as well as a 70,685-square-foot hotel and 12,730 square feet of retail. A total of 731 parking spaces will be provided with 694 of those spaces allocated to residents only.

The hotel will occupy the north tower including a hotel lobby and 96 hotel rooms on levels three through eight. 282 condo units will be located on levels nine through 39.

The south tower will include 329 units on levels nine through 39. Amenities, including a pool deck, will be found on the 9th floor for both towers.

Amacon is currently nearing completion on another condo project right next door to the site. That development will bring 461 condo units to the market via its two 38-story and 32-story towers.

This is a developing story.
