Two affordable housing projects broke ground this week north of Denver; the 118-unit Eaton Street Apartments in Westminster and the 142-unit Baker School Apartments in Adams County.
According to the Denver Post, the Adams County Housing Authority, Growing Home, St. Anthony Hospital and Red Rocks Community College will offer services at Baker School Apartments, including after-school programs, financial planning assistance and pop-up medical and dental screenings.
At the intersection of Sheridan Boulevard and U.S. 36, Eaton Street Apartments broke ground Tuesday and are expected to be complete at the end of 2018. Units will be available to those earning 30 to 60 percent of the area median income.
More information about these projects will be available in January.
