Vertix Builders, a culture-focused construction company specializing in healthcare projects, recently completed two projects for Advent Health in Castle Rock: the Musculoskeletal (MSK)/Ortho Center and the Outpatient Surgery Center (OSC) Operating Room.
The Castle Rock Adventist MSK/Ortho Center was a tenant improvement project for 16,400 square feet of shell space on the second floor of the Schrader Medical Office Building on the Advent Health Castle Rock Campus. The project included combining the orthopedics, pain management & therapy services program. The project also included the renovation of 32 exam rooms, a physical therapy gym, two XRAY rooms, one C-Arm room, hand therapy room, staff team rooms and a lounge. The most notable finishes on the project are the ceilings and lighting with wood slat ceilings that sit over their waiting area, colored felt baffles with exposed ceiling that goes over the physical therapy gym and “illusion” panels that extend throughout their exam corridors. The exam rooms have high-end wall light fixtures and covered lighting. The architect for the project was SmithGroup.
The Castle Rock OSC is a fit-out of existing shell space for two new operating rooms on the first floor of the Schrader Medical Office Building at the Advent Health Castle Rock Campus. The project included adding new structural steel support of new boom light equipment, finishes, lighting and diffusers. The addition will help bring improvement and capacity to the existing surgery space. The architect for the project was Boulder Associates.
