Vertix Builders, a culture-focused construction company specializing in healthcare projects, has completed the remodel of the 37,000-square-foot clubhouse at Wind Crest Town Center in Highlands Ranch for Erickson Senior Living. The project included high-end finishes, fixtures, and details specific to a senior living facility, including the mitigation of trip hazards.
The extensive project involved a comprehensive remodel and addition of amenities aimed at enhancing the quality of life for the residents, including:
- Renovation was the Fireside restaurant which underwent a full remodel to provide an updated and inviting atmosphere for dining. With an added free-standing fireplace, private dining rooms, and a full bar the space is full of warmth and ambiance, creating a cozy, welcoming setting perfect for gatherings.
- The existing fitness center received a full facelift and expansion. Locker rooms received new showers with high-end tile finishes.
- A custom millwork reception desk was added, and a lobby face lift enhances the overall entry experience, providing a warm and welcoming first impression for visitors and residents alike.
- A media lounge was added for residents to access a library of books and have access to computers and printers.
- The existing living room space received a fireplace facelift and addition of new AV equipment, providing top of the line projection system for resident movie nights and surround sound.
- New pool tables and a golf simulator adds to the large variety of amenities residents enjoy.
- A full remodel of the medical center provides a clean, bright, and welcoming environment for residents to receive medical care, including an expanded waiting room.
- Upgrades throughout – Flooring, lighting, ceiling replacements, renovations of restaurant, addition of bar and private dining rooms, full face lift of living room amenities space with added golf simulator and projector system. Medical center renovation with added conference rooms and an expanded waiting room. Addition of an employee health and wellness clinic. High-end custom millwork throughout the project, with the highlights being the banquet seating in the Fireside Restaurant, the front entry desk, the media lounge, and the divider wall at the living room. Full lighting upgrade to LED system with smart building control through the BAS. Replacement of exhaust fans to the kitchen.
