DENVER –Zeppelin Development has selected Vertix Builders, a Colorado-based construction company, to build Kabin, 194 workforce housing units that broke ground last month in RiNo.
Kabin will provide needed workforce housing to service industry and young professionals with a downtown location and amenities that work well for them. Designed by a collaboration including Dynia Architects, Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture, and Wenk Associates; the residences will primarily be one bedrooms with wood panel detailing on the exterior and interior areas, providing a warmer pallet. Enhanced appliances, lighting and plumbing fixture packages will be provided, and operable glass garage doors – a Zeppelin signature – will be included in every unit to maximize sunlight.
Residents will also enjoy easy access to all of the amenities and services on the TAXI campus, including Comal, Black Black Coffee, a shipping container pool, conference rooms, community garden, early childcare education center and more.
Kabin is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2020.
