Local Denver developer, Highland Development Company (HDC), local architect, KGA Studio Architects, and local general contractor, DIRC Homes, broke ground last week on Berkley Shores, Denver’s newest waterfront community.
The community is nestled between Berkeley and West Highlands, adjacent to Lake Pomponio and Clear Creek Valley Park, and just 20 minutes east of Olde Town Arvada on the bike trail. Residents will find their very own relaxing retreat from downtown Denver while still maintaining quick access to the city.
“Today marks a special day as we officially break ground on Berkley Shores and become a member of this community,” said Randy Henckel, president DIRC Homes. “This neighborhood, once completed, will be a wonderful addition to our portfolio and the Denver market.”
KGA Studio Architects designed two single-family floor plans and five townhome plans for the community..
“Thanks to the variety of product types and price points, Berkley Shores will be home to a diverse community. This is a unique opportunity for both first-time buyers and empty nesters. It gives people such as teachers and nurses the opportunity to own a new home within the community they work,” said John Guilliams, director of Design at KGA.
Berkley Shores will feature homes with a variety of options and upgrades for buyers to choose from, including quartz countertops, black stainless appliances, and luxury flooring selections.
“This community has something for everyone, it is in an amazing location with easy access to Tennyson Street, downtown Denver, and just moments away from Regis University,” said Jill Samuels, Realtor with The Highland Team and Compass.
