DENVER— The Wells Fargo Center is the latest location to peek the interest of co-working company WeWork. The company just announced it has leased five floors inside the building at 1700 Lincoln. WeWork already resides at three other locations in Denver — Union Station, LoHi and, as of Aug. 1, the Tabor Center.

WeWork will occupy floors 14-18 inside the Wells Fargo Center, with additional floors a possibility. The building has 52 floors.

The new space inside the Wells Fargo Center is scheduled to open early next year with 1,900 desks on the five floors. According to a WeWork Spokesperson, Denver will have a total of 6,130 desks across all four locations by Q1 2019.

“We want to serve up incredible and innovative spaces wherever people want to live, work and play. WeWork is about building community, providing flexibility, and creating opportunities,” said Nathan Lenahan, WeWork’s General Manager for the region. “Our investment in Denver will continue to be bullish and by signing this lease, we’re building a campus-like environment across Denver to provide multiple locations so that in any corner of the city, our members have office space to touchdown or to host meetings and events. At WeWork, we’re always looking to the future while at the same time respecting and preserving the past. It’s exciting to breathe new life into 1700 Lincoln yet doing so in a way that honors this iconic touchstone that caps Denver’s beautiful skyline.”

WeWork provides more than 253,000 members around the world with space, community, and services through both physical and digital offerings. Founded in New York City in 2010 by Adam Neumann and Miguel McKelvey, WeWork currently has more than 283 physical locations in 75 cities and 22 countries around the world. We transform buildings into dynamic environments for creativity, focus, and collaboration. More than just a new way of working, though, this is a movement toward a new way of living.
