Woodward Inc., an independent designer, manufacturer, and service provider of control solutions for the aerospace and industrial markets, has traded its Loveland campus, located at 3800 Wilson Avenue, for a new facility, located at 753 Champion Drive in Windsor, next to the company’s existing Rocky Mountain Technology and Innovation Center (RMTIC). By moving the testing center,Woodward is creating a technology campus that will allow for broader and deeper test capability.

Southgate One was the seller of the Champion Drive property and is the new owner of the Loveland campus. Peter Kast, CCIM, SIOR, with CBRE’s Fort Collins office represented Woodward in the trade.

“This was a strategic move by Woodward to concentrate its real estate footprint. Woodward’s continued investment in Northern Colorado is a testament to the strength and resiliency of our region,” said Peter Kast, senior vice president, CBRE.

According to CBRE Research, sales in the Northern Colorado industrial market remained strong through the first half of 2020 with a total volume of $65.2 million, up 64.5 percent over the same period last year.

The sale of the Loveland campus will allow the company to optimize its Colorado footprint in newer facilities. The company built a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at its Fort Collins Lincoln Campus in 2015, which is also home to its corporate headquarters, and recently renovated its Fort Collins Drake Campus, which was Woodwards original Colorado location dating back to 1963.
