Event Round-Up: North Metro Area Economic Development Luncheon

DENVER – On June 14, 2017 the Society for Marketing Professional Services held a North Metro Area Economic Development luncheon at the Denver Athletic Club that included several speakers from various regions north of the Denver Metro area. The panel discussed upcoming opportunities in their area and how to best improve business practices.

  • Assistant Director of Economic Development ADAM KRUEGER, City of Thornton, acts as the single point of contact for primary employers and their consultants as they make location and expansion decisions.
  • Economic Development Coordinator, PAULA K. MEHLE, Town of Erie, is responsible for the town’s economic development strategy, which includes local business retention and expansion programs, business attraction, strategic business alliances and business ombudsman activities.
  • Economic Development Director, JOHN L. HALL, City of Westminster, has 25 years of experience in economic development and private land use development consulting. His expertise includes multiple aspects of economic development, including primary business attraction and retention, small business development, retail recruitment, marketing, policy development and analysis, strategic planning, land development and incentive negotiations.
  • Director of Economic Development, BO MARTINEZ, City and County of Broomfield, works to establish and leverage existing networks and partnerships with the public and private sectors, greater engagement with prospective and existing businesses, sustain and increase employment, stimulate private investment and revitalization to solidify and grow Broomfield’s economic base now and for the future.
