The Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown Completes Multi-Million Dollar Renovation

CY Marriott Downtown

DENVER The Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown is pleased to announce that it has completed the multi-million dollar renovation launched last fall that included updates to the hotel’s lobby and seven urban meetings spaces.

The “modern vintage” feel of the remodel was designed to honor the hotel’s stylish architectural history – the building was originally designed by Denver architect Frank E. Edbrooke in 1887 and was home to Joslins Department Store for much of the 1900s.

The refreshed lobby and event spaces now offer a rich, contemporary design, with dark wood beams accented with pops of bright blue, turquoise and yellow, designed by Denver’s Design Force Corporation. Guests can enjoy several unique art pieces created by emerging Colorado artists and curated by Denver art consultants NINE dot ARTS.

Managed by Denver’s Sage Hospitality, The Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown offers 3,200-square-feet of urban meeting space, including seven flexible venues that can accommodate up to 250 guests. The refreshed pre-function space now features a built-in buffet space and new LED lighting.

To help celebrate the remodel, the Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown has partnered with Denver’s original brewery, the Wynkoop Brewing Co., to offer its guests exclusive access to the history LoDo brewery.

Priced starting at $229 per night, the Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown Wynkoop Brewing Package includes:

  • Overnight accommodations in a spacious downtown guest room
  • One 32 oz. growler filled with the Wynkoop craft brew of your choice
  • Complimentary valet parking – a $40 value!

“We are so excited to welcome travelers to our stunning new Downtown Denver lobby and event space,” said Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown General Manager Jason Mueller. “A lot of our guests come to Denver to visit the ‘Napa Valley of Beer,’ which is why we wanted to partner with the iconic Wynkoop Brewing for this special new promotion. We expect it to be very popular this summer.”

CY MarriottThe Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown offers 177 spacious guest rooms and suites, all of which feature modern décor along with high ceilings and local artwork.
